Patient Payment Ledger
A monthly daily ledger sheet with a row for each day from 1 to 31. Columns track charges, payments broken out by cash, checks, electronic or ACH, credit card, and patient financing, total collections, and accounts receivable. The last columns record cash and check deposits with their dates and amounts.
The front desk or office manager fills in one line at the end of each day after running the day’s reports. At month end the sheet gives a quick view of collections against charges and helps confirm that deposits match payments taken, which is useful when reconciling with the bank statement.
