Appointment No-Show Policy
A one-page no-show and missed appointment policy. It tells patients that booking reserves a chair, a time slot, and materials, and asks for 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. A blank lets the office set an hourly charge for no-shows, and the policy warns that repeated cancellations or missed visits can cost a patient future appointment privileges. It also promises promptness from the office except when another patient has an emergency.
Include it in the new patient packet and ask patients to sign it. When someone misses an appointment, the front desk can point to the signed copy before applying any fee.
